                                                       Welcome to the Cultural Week of pianistic bliss !

The European Centre for Culture & Arts  proudly presents  Valletta International Piano Festival with feast of enticing evening concerts, piano recitals, daily master classes and piano competition. The festival is dedicated to all young musicians who are aiming  to enhance  and develop their  piano skills and abilities, while also inciting a spark to follow and make a career within the art of classical piano performance.
The purpose of the festival is simple: to inspire, support, professionalize and encourage piano  music- making of the highest  quality, to discover the harmony and finesse of the new, endless piano world.
It is a great pleasure to welcome  INTERNATIONALY ACCLAIMED PIANO  MASTERS  from the  high standard  musical institutes, conservatories, academies of different countries, young  RISING PIANO  STARS, who will display their talents, rejuvenate and highlight the love of Piano.
I am sure, that festival is aimed to motivate and instil courage and determination into the hearts of people of all ages to fall in love with the Art of Classical Piano.

To foster interculturality in order to develop cultural interaction in the spirit of building bridges among cultures.
To promote respect for the diversity of cultural expressions and raise awareness of its value at the local, national and international levels.
To strengthen international cooperation and solidarity in a spirit of partnership with a view, in particular, to enhancing the capacities of developing countries in order to protect and promote the diversity of cultural expressions.
We belief  that  culture is a key component  in international relations and our mission is to bring people and organizations together from the fields of Culture, Art, Education  to promote  Intercultural Dialogue and  to improve and strenght positive and long lasting relationships between European nations.

Objects 
- To promote co-operation and intercultural understanding . 
- To promote and retain language and cultural traditions as essential components of multiculturalism.
- To provide new cultural, educational information and professional advisory services to all  interested organizations.
- To enrich the common European heritage through preservation, development and promotion of the cultures and
folk arts.
- To facilitate the recognition of cultural uniqueness, to develop and promote the traditional European arts of member groups through the organization of cultural and educational events:  live performances , exhibitions , spectacles, festivals , cultural and educational tours. 
- To encourage individuals and groups to increase the opportunities available to explore their cultural expressions  and to learn about that of other intercultural groups.
- To promote and encourage young  musicians, artists, dancers to express their talents. To support them in developing  their skills in international competitions, scholarships and workshops in Malta and abroad.
- Active participation in local and foreigner charities and events, which promote the common goal to live, work and
raise people together.
- To develop and promote Cultural Tourism in Malta and in Europe.


* The European Centre for Culture & Arts  shall be the sole owner and copyright holder of any photos, audio- and/or
video-recording that may be done of any festivals activities, concerts or events by all musicians / participants. 
 All participants/musicians agree to release all rights to compensation for such recordings.
